Based on traditional Balinese temple umbrellas, this popular style has hand painted gold chrysanthemums around the edge and hanging capiz shell dangles from each tip. Choose from three sizes: patio, terrace and tabletop, depending on your need. This is the terrace size, and makes a beautiful decoration and a nice shady spot on a hot day. Fits a standard sized umbrella stand. Feel free to treat with awning spray to make water proof and reduce fading.
Assembly - First unwrap the top and bottom pieces and remove protective plastic from between fabric and bamboo spines. Remove nuts and bolts from bottom half and then put bottom and top half of polls together. Put bolts back in and replace and tighten bolts - sometimes they go in easier from one site. Next - to open make sure you have a friend on hand, then turn the umbrella upside down, place the top of it on the ground, and push down firmly on the runner until it clears the hole in the post. Have your friend insert the peg in the hole, then turn the whole thing over and put it in the stand. If the umbrella turns inside out, don't worry! The bamboo ribs are tough and flexible. Just pull up gently and evenly to turn it right side out again.
