Our timeless Atta grass purses & handbags are woven from a vine indigenous to the foothills of Bali's valcanoes. It is split and woven into purses, baskets, etc. by master weavers from one area of Bali. The rich brown color is created by smoking the artifacts in a smoke house using a fire of coconut hesks that are soaked in honey. The color will not wear off nor will the slight smoky scent. Everyone love this small handbag with Nantucket style weave.
